The first of several outdoor-themed releases for the fall season, the KARHU Orienteering Pack is set to launch in late September.(September 23, 2022 ) This special collection features four stylish silhouettes dressed in tones inspired by the sport of orienteering. Many of the colours utilized in the assortment are commonplace in the landscapes, maps, markers, and tools that make up this unique adventure-rich activity. 

 

Created in the late 1800s as a training exercise for the Swedish military, orienteering is a sport of navigation and speed in which participants traverse a series of checkpoints in an effort to get from point A to point B. Orienteering courses range in length and difficulty, but all take place over natural landscapes that require the use of topographical maps and a compass to effectively navigate. Whether you are an experienced hiker, a competitive runner, or an outdoor enthusiast, the ideal orienteer is part trail runner, part obstacle course connoisseur, and part map reader.
